Golden Brown... it's not Chicken! :P

Finally got around to coloring my hair! It's been more than 6 months since I last had them colored so my hair was itching to be dyed lighter again.  I've been planning to do this since February but I had to pass as I had other, more important things to spend my money on at the time.  But given that it's my birthday month, I decided to finally do it just in time for my 24th (eep!) birthday.  I'M OLD :|

What helped me decide to do it was a promo i found in Deal Grocer (dealgrocer.com) for Sujivana Salon.  It was a P2000 coupon worth on any salon services for P1200 only!  That's P800 in savings!  I heard from online reviews that they do great coloring services..plus their hair dye is ammonia free!  I was so excited that I immediately purchased them and reserved with the salon for an 11AM booking.

I got to Sujivana Salon at 930 AM!  This is because I live in QC and Sujivana is located in Alabang so I needed to go there early to avoid both the metro and SLEX traffic.  Good thing that they were already setting up the place at that time and they let me start my service at 10AM, great!

First off, the place looks great! So clean, white, modern and trendy! They also served me a really unique welcome drink I wouldn't get in other salons.  I'm really not sure what it was but it tasted like soda with some fruit in it..like lychee or something. haha! I'd ask the next time I go there.

Secondly, the staff are all super nice and accomodating!  Especially their receptionist JJ who helped me all throughout the process.  The shampoo experience was also something I enjoyed very much.. it's like a mini head massage...loooooooove it!  I also ended up gettinga haircut as recommended by my stylist for that day, Jeff.  I love my layers!!

and lastly, the coloring service.  As mentioned earlier, they used ammonia-free hair dye products so I was assured of a less drying result compared to others.  But what really got me is the amplified color that I saw on my hair the moment Jeff removed the towel on my hair after showering.  IT'S SO BRIGHT!  Yay!  The color is something Ive wanted since the first time I colored my hair (college) but it's always (sadly) not achieved by my salon back then.  So good job Sujivana! I only paid P 1950 in total iinstead of P2750, that's with P500 haircut na ah! I'm so happy! :)

Here are some photos of me and my new hair :)

Totally going oily!

My latest beauty find is Neutrogena's Body Oil, Light Sesame Formula.  I've been seeing this in the past already but I just pass through it when grocery shopping since I don't really use oil regularly.  This all changed when I happened to share the bathing area of Punta Fuego late last year with a colleague.  I tried to offer her some lotion, to which she politely refused as she said she's already applied OIL on.  I kinda found it weird at the time that she used oil instead of lotion....coz I had J&Js classic baby oil in mind! Haha it was only a few days after that incident when I realized she must be using some sosyal body oil. I feel so stupeeeeeeed.

OK, so this led to my hunt for the perfect body oil.  and the hunt was short.. haha I only browsed through the web for the best body oil in the market that's available in the Philippines yesterday(3/24)..and I made the purchase last night.  I found it at Mercury Drug in Katipunan... they had like 30 bottles on shelf...I guess not so saleable for the mass.  It costs P 585- though I think I can get it cheaper in some Supermarkets or Department Stores.  Only, I did not have the time to go to one last night as I was so tired, and I already badly needed it since my body lotion's almost empty already.

Upon reaching the house, I opened the bottle and caught a whiff of Neutrogena's Body Oil scent.  IT'S HEAVEN IN A BOTTLE! It's true what it says on the bottle..it really is "a sheer moisturizing experience".   I sooo love it that I couldnt wait to use it.  Today, I woke up at 530am, took a shower, and happily massaged and smoothed the body oil on my body.  I'M SO HAPPY!  SO KILIG WITH THE OIL haha, so fulfilled, and SOOOOOOO satisfied with this purchase.  I honestly don't mind getting this over lotion that's 5 times cheaper.  IM ONLY LETTING NEUTROGENA BODY OIL TOUCH MY SKIN from now on :)
