Boomie for Tim Burton

I usually do my younger sister's make-up whenever she has a party or some sort of special occasion to go to.  Sometimes, i think she just lets me do it because she knows how much I love putting make-up on. I still believe she would rather have mom do her face...except when mom applies eyeliner--this made all 3 (Ate Ja, Boomie and I) of us cry during each of our times with her. :(( Mom still is the best make-up artist for me when it comes to using browns.  She has used it for such a long time already (hehe) that's it's so easy for her to make you look elegant and glowing with brown shades.  Although I think she loves browns too much that she gives me this weird look when I wear a different color other than browns...especially when it's blue or green..or RED & ORANGE hehehehe :D

Going back to my sister... last November she asked me to do her makeup for a friend's debut which has a Tim Burton theme.  We did a test make-up the night before and this is what I came up with:

Haha!  She only got to see her face after I did the whole thing. Diba Tim Burton naman si Queen of Hearts??? Hahaha! I was so tired that night so we didnt get the chance to have a serious testing. I think kinakabahan na sya that time thinking id really put a queen of hearts makeup on her.

Here's what I did for the night itself.  We couldn't decide on which Tim Burton character to peg her makeup on since she cant find any costume too.  We just went for a general "dead but pretty" look... put a white base using layers and layers of fair powder mineral foundation, did a  light smoky eye using midnight blue, gray, and silver shades.. used a silver eyeliner on her lower lash line.. drew a cat's eye with true black gel liner, a pop of color from pink blush, and baby pink, almost nudish color for her lips.

Sorry for the grainy pictures, I just used my camera phone to take this. :)
