Golden Brown... it's not Chicken! :P

Finally got around to coloring my hair! It's been more than 6 months since I last had them colored so my hair was itching to be dyed lighter again.  I've been planning to do this since February but I had to pass as I had other, more important things to spend my money on at the time.  But given that it's my birthday month, I decided to finally do it just in time for my 24th (eep!) birthday.  I'M OLD :|

What helped me decide to do it was a promo i found in Deal Grocer (dealgrocer.com) for Sujivana Salon.  It was a P2000 coupon worth on any salon services for P1200 only!  That's P800 in savings!  I heard from online reviews that they do great coloring services..plus their hair dye is ammonia free!  I was so excited that I immediately purchased them and reserved with the salon for an 11AM booking.

I got to Sujivana Salon at 930 AM!  This is because I live in QC and Sujivana is located in Alabang so I needed to go there early to avoid both the metro and SLEX traffic.  Good thing that they were already setting up the place at that time and they let me start my service at 10AM, great!

First off, the place looks great! So clean, white, modern and trendy! They also served me a really unique welcome drink I wouldn't get in other salons.  I'm really not sure what it was but it tasted like soda with some fruit in it..like lychee or something. haha! I'd ask the next time I go there.

Secondly, the staff are all super nice and accomodating!  Especially their receptionist JJ who helped me all throughout the process.  The shampoo experience was also something I enjoyed very much.. it's like a mini head massage...loooooooove it!  I also ended up gettinga haircut as recommended by my stylist for that day, Jeff.  I love my layers!!

and lastly, the coloring service.  As mentioned earlier, they used ammonia-free hair dye products so I was assured of a less drying result compared to others.  But what really got me is the amplified color that I saw on my hair the moment Jeff removed the towel on my hair after showering.  IT'S SO BRIGHT!  Yay!  The color is something Ive wanted since the first time I colored my hair (college) but it's always (sadly) not achieved by my salon back then.  So good job Sujivana! I only paid P 1950 in total iinstead of P2750, that's with P500 haircut na ah! I'm so happy! :)

Here are some photos of me and my new hair :)
